Our Company History
Major Group was established in 1983, when the garment industry was still at its nascent stage in India. Mr. Prahald Rai Saraf, founder of the company, started as a small-time designer and tailor. However, in just a few years, he established Major as a successful export house, catering to brands across the world.
From a humble beginning, Major Group has come a long way and it’s still a closed family-driven business. Major Life Style has manufactured more than 20 million garments for more than 100 brands over the last 4 decades and supplied to more than 30 countries.
